A demonstration of TikiWiki CMS/Groupware
Followed by drinks with the developers

Saturday, January 16th

Casa Frela Gallery is hosting a demonstration of Tiki, a free, open source integrated software package used to set up multi-featured websites “out of the box.” Anyone with an interest in web sites is welcome, from the most seasoned administrators to newbies interested in setting up their first site.

The demonstration will take place on Saturday, January 16th, 2010, from 2:00PM to 3:30PM, and is free of charge. Afterwards, enjoy some beer and wine with the volunteer developers who make it all happen.

Tiki is a web-based, multilingual, wiki and content management system (CMS) tightly integrated with a comprehensive set of groupware features. It is a free and open source software created by a large, international develop-ment team.

Tiki includes hundreds of well integrated features. In most situations, Tiki “does it all”. You do not need to find other software to fill in a missing piece. Because of this, Tiki helps you to easily create all types of collaborative applications: websites, portals, knowledge bases, intranets and extranets. Tiki’s web-based, graphical interface makes it easy to configure the features you need. Tiki’s enormous set of features allows you to have the confidence that it will adapt well to all your requirements, now and in the future.
And all of this is free! Tiki is really a community that believes strongly in the positive power of communities and in an open source and open devel-opment model.

Lawrence Rodriguez, owner of Casa Frela Gallery, and the TikiWiki Com-munity, invite you to a demonstration of Tiki 4.0 on Saturday, January 16th from 2:00PM to 3:30PM followed by drinks with TikiWiki developers.
